Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: 16 AUGUST 2026
I am Emily respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what I collect when you use iamemily.uk, how I use it and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
Who is responsible for your information
The data controller is Emily Hewett.
Correspondence address: Launchpad, Airport Business Park, Rochford, Essex SS4 1YH, United Kingdom.
Email: emily@iamemily.co.uk
Information I may collect
I may collect information you give me directly, including your name, email address, messages, collaboration enquiries, newsletter preferences and anything else you choose to include in a form. I may also collect technical and usage information, including your IP address, browser, device, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source and cookie identifiers.
How I collect information
Information may be collected when you subscribe, contact me, comment, interact with the website, accept optional cookies or communicate through social media. The website, forms, email marketing and analytics are currently provided through Wix. Embedded content, including an Instagram feed, may also collect information when it is allowed to load.
Why I use information and my lawful basis
I use personal information to respond to messages and collaboration enquiries, where this is necessary to take steps you have requested; send newsletters where you have given consent; operate, secure and improve the website where this is necessary for my legitimate interests; and meet any legal obligations that apply. Where I rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Email marketing
I use Wix Email Marketing to send updates only to people who have chosen to receive them. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email or by contacting emily@iamemily.co.uk. I may retain your email address on a suppression list so that I can respect your choice and avoid contacting you again by mistake.
Cookies and Wix Analytics
The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential technologies support security and core site functions. Optional Wix Analytics and embedded social-media technologies will be used in line with your cookie choices. Visitors who do not accept relevant analytics cookies may not appear in Wix Analytics. See the Cookie Policy and select Cookie settings in the website footer to review or change your choice.
Sharing information
I may share information with Wix, which provides the website, forms, email marketing and analytics; professional advisers where necessary; Thrty3 Talent Management where you make a relevant brand or collaboration enquiry; and public authorities where required by law. Providers may use information only for the relevant service and must protect it appropriately. I do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Wix and its service providers may store or process information in the United States, Europe, Israel or other locations. Wix states that it uses recognised safeguards for international transfers where required, including adequacy arrangements and approved contractual protections such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long information is kept
Contact and general enquiry records will normally be kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Collaboration and contractual records may be kept for up to six years where needed for legal, accounting or tax purposes. Newsletter details will be kept until you unsubscribe, with limited suppression information retained for as long as needed to respect that request. Cookie-choice records and technical or security data will be kept only for as long as needed for the purpose for which they were collected. Analytics information is retained in line with Wix’s settings and policies and is reviewed as part of the website’s annual privacy review. Information may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed.
Security
I use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including the security tools supplied by Wix, to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information; object to certain processing; receive some information in a portable format; and withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time. To exercise a right, email emily@iamemily.co.uk. I may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.
Complaints
Please contact me first so that I can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Third-party links and embedded content
The website may link to or embed content from third parties, including Instagram, Thrty3 Talent Management and brand websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Children
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please contact me if you believe a child has provided information.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy when the website, providers or law changes. The latest version and updated date will always appear on this page.

LAST UPDATED: 16 AUGUST 2026
This policy explains how iamemily.uk uses cookies and similar technologies.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files placed on or accessed from your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies can include pixels, scripts, tags, local storage and embedded content.
How this website uses them
The website is built on Wix. Essential technologies help it work, provide security, remember privacy choices and support requested functions. Optional technologies may be used for Wix Analytics and embedded social-media content. Optional technologies will be controlled through the Wix Privacy Center cookie banner where consent is required.
Your choices
When you first visit, the cookie banner will allow you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. A Cookie settings link should also be added to the footer so you can review or change your choice at any time. You can control cookies through your browser as well, although blocking essential cookies may affect how the website works.
Cookie categories
Essential
Used for security, site delivery, consent records and functions you request. These cannot usually be switched off through the cookie banner.
Analytics
Used by Wix Analytics to understand how people find and use the website. Visitors who do not accept the relevant cookies may not appear in analytics reports.
Functional
Used to remember optional preferences or provide enhanced features where these are added to the site.
Social media
An Instagram feed or other embedded content may allow the relevant platform to receive information about your visit when the embed is loaded.
Advertising
The website does not currently plan to use advertising pixels or personalised advertising cookies. This policy and the cookie banner will be updated before any such technology is added.
Cookies used on this website
The exact cookies can change when Wix updates its platform or when site features are added. The final Wix cookie report should be displayed here or linked from this section after the completed website has been scanned. It should list each cookie’s name, provider, category, purpose and duration.
Third-party content
Instagram and other embedded services may use cookies or similar technologies when their content is enabled. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
Updates
This policy may change when the website, Wix services or cookies change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
